Lisa Brent, ND, LAc

Dr. Lisa Brent earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 2000. While attending NCNM, Dr. Brent spent two summers traveling throughout China to study medical qigong and traditional Chinese healing practices.

Dr. Brent's post-graduate training includes a two-year residency in women's health and complementary cancer care at the An Hao Clinic in Portland, Oregon. She is also a graduate of The School of Conscious Healing in Sedona, Arizona, an intensive, experiential program in hands-on energy work and spiritual healing.

Throughout her years in practice, Dr. Brent has made an effort to keep current on the latest safety and efficacy research related to women's health. Dr. Brent specializes in the treatment of women, including gynecological care, fertility enhancement and hormonal support for women in all stages of their reproductive lives.

Because she believes that the most effective treatment plans are customized to the individual, Dr. Brent draws upon a wide range of healing modalities in her work with patients. These approaches include dietary guidance, herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, lifestyle counseling, IV therapy, bio-identical hormones, acupuncture and cranio-sacral therapy.

Dr. Brent is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association. She lives in Marin County, California, with her husband and three children.
