Dr. Sally LaMont is a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist with over 30 years of experience in functional medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a range of digestive problems, thyroid, adrenal and female hormonal imbalances, brain fog and early dementia, and other chronic diseases.

Dr. LaMont has completed the Advanced Training in The Bredesen Protocol to Prevent and Reverse Cognitive Decline through the Institute for Functional Medicine and the Buck Institute of Aging. She is passionate about identifying and reversing the drivers of dementia and chronic disease their early stages.  

She uses state of-the-art laboratory testing to identify the root causes and develops personalized natural treatment protocols. She integrates diet, nutritional and botanical medicine, and bio-identical hormone replacement therapy as foundational therapies to restore balance and promote optimal health. 

As prior Executive Director of the California Naturopathic Doctors Association, Dr. LaMont led the successful legislative campaign to license naturopathic doctors (NDs) in California, setting professional standards and granting Californians access to naturopathic medical care. In 2001, she was honored as “Physician of the Year” by the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians for her leadership and contribution to shaping health policy in the United States. Known for her passionate delivery, Dr. LaMont has served on faculty at San Francisco State University and lectured at UCSF, Stanford, and UC Irvine and enjoys educating both the public and other health care professionals.

Dr. LaMont earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 1981 from the National University of Naturopathic Medicine and her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in 1986 at Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a member of the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and the California Naturopathic Doctors Association (CNDA). Her passions in life are cooking, writing, yoga, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.

First Office Visit

The first office visit is 60-90 minutes - $500-$625

  • Comprehensive medical history
  • Pertinent physical exams
  • Prescribing of medication/supplements if indicated
  • Ordering of functional lab tests

Cognitive Decline/Bredesen Protocol Assessment and Treatment
First visit is 120 minutes - $650

Return Visits

Return visits are 30-60 minutes - $250-$350

Return visits are more frequent at the beginning of a treatment, then become less frequent as a patient's health improves. These typically range from every 1-3 months.
