Your Visit

Your first office visit will consist of a thorough medical history of past and present health concerns. The art of medicine requires a complete understanding of all factors that may be contributing to your condition, so open dialogue with your doctor is encouraged. Pertinent physical exams will be performed. Diagnostic laboratory tests may be ordered to provide a complete understanding of any dysfunction that is occurring. If you have had recent lab work performed, please bring a copy of the results with you. At your first visit, we spend a full hour with you – 90 minutes if acupuncture is performed.

Please fill out the New Patient Intake form that will be emailed to you and mail it to us or drop it off at the clinic before your visit.

Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. Our office accepts cash, checks, Visa, and MasterCard. We also accept payment from Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA). We do not bill insurance companies directly, but upon your request, we can provide you with a copy of your complete invoice so that you may submit it for reimbursement.

Cancellation
Marin Natural Medicine Clinic has a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please give us plenty of notice so we may offer the appointment time to someone else. Without proper notice, a charge will apply.

Phone Consultations
Phone consultations are available for patients who live out of the area. After scheduling your initial appointment, we will send you a New Patient Intake form to fill out and return before your first telephone “visit.” If you have copies of recent laboratory work, please mail or fax the results with your Intake form. We may order additional lab tests that can be performed in your area. We also may prescribe natural medication that can be shipped to you.
